Direct Sales Idea

Before I start, the odds are this will never earn me one penny.

That is the reality of startups.

I’m going for it regardless.

YouTube video about random business ideas.

The idea is to provide essential products to people for them to sell locally.

For example, socks, shirts, pants, toilet paper, paper towels, underwear, soap, and other products I research.

Things you buy all the time.

I want to create a job for people who want to be their own boss or work for someone locally.

The sellers can store the products in their homes or other places allowed by law.

I will have attorneys guiding me every step of the way.

They can sell them from tables on sidewalks, they can sell them from their car, their garage, etc.

I will figure out what’s legal and what the best opportunities are.

I want to try and take some money out of the hands of large corporations and put it in the hands of regular people.

People can choose what products they want to sell.

I want to know what’s the real cost of things when you remove the retail rents, mailing things back and forth, etc.

I want as many people as possible to work for themselves on their own hours.

I can envision tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people worldwide selling products without the retail rents, without the large corporations.

I have many more ideas, but I think anyone in the startup game can figure out where else this can go.

A website to locate products, vendor reviews, etc.

Take someone who is working for minimum wage, basically the majority of people on the planet.

Now they can sell toilet paper, socks, underwear, whatever, to 50 people in their neighborhood.

Why do we need a large corporation to sell us toilet paper?

All the money goes to a landlord plus a large corporation, and we are all broke?

Is toilet paper going to be replaced by technology?

Is paper towel?

Shirts?

Underwear?

Socks?

Are we still going to wear socks 5 years from now?

Even if this idea goes into retail, I have ideas.

If, for some reason, this idea morphs into a retail strategy, I’m still willing to roll the dice.

I will have attorneys guiding me every step of the way.

I’m going to do everything by the book.

I have to be CEO / Chairman of the board and control the whole thing.

Everything will be transparent, but I can’t put myself in a situation where I get sandbagged by my own team.

The odds are this deal will never generate one penny for me.

Many big companies will lose money if this plan works, and I don’t feel like getting sabotaged by my own group.

I’d rather find the terms that will protect the company, than rush and deal with drama.

I’m 46, the last place I want to end up in court.

I don’t care if someone offers me $100,000,000,000.00 right now I’m not giving up control.

I have seen people raise millions of dollars under the wrong terms, and it’s a disaster.
