The New York City police sabotaged my career. As a result, I now receive welfare from the NYC government. Some people think the government simply gives you welfare with no requirements. That’s not true. I am required to attend a welfare job program for 30 hours a week, five days a week. Currently, the program is remote because there is an issue with the air conditioner. Welfare gives me about $700 per month. I don’t have a criminal record. I don’t do anything illegal. I’m 49. The police won’t let me work.
