Greetings Nassau County Executive,
I’m a 44 years old homeless college student at LaGuardia Community College CUNY. Baruch College accepted me for next semester.
I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I don’t party. I don’t have a criminal record.
During my first three semesters, my GPA is 4.0 after 27 credits.
All my assignments have been turned in on time or early. I have a one hundred percent attendance record.
I keep myself clean. I also have storage to keep clean clothes paid for by HRA.
I spend ninety-nine percent of my time in New York City.
I was arrested two days ago at the Jericho Public Library by the Nassau County Police Department.
I was charged with one misdemeanor of harassment. I was arguing on the phone with Nassau County Police Headquarters and NCPD 911. I made no threats at any time.
NCPD would not be proud if people heard how their operators spoke to me. I’m not thrilled about the calls either.
I have contacted the Nassau County Executive for years that people are harassing me in Nassau County. I have also contacted the Nassau County District Attorney for years previous to being arrested.
I disagree with the criminal charge, but I understand it. What I don’t understand is the mental health evaluation and probation.
Anytime I get physically hurt or have any slight medical issue, I go directly to the emergency room of a hospital or urgent care in New York City. I have been in and out of hospitals and emergency rooms dozens of times over the years with no issue.
I go to several other places, and I treat everyone with the utmost respect at all times. There are video cameras all over recording me acting as normal as anyone. I also acted respectfully and normally while in police custody for the day I was with them. Do they have any footage of me not acting normal?
I haven’t had any issues anywhere. I have no criminal record. I have a 4.0 GPA after 27 credits at CUNY. I don’t understand how arguing on the phone with NCPD leads to a mental health evaluation.
I’m going on the record right now. I’m not going to get too deep into what I was calling the NYPD and NCPD. I will be one hundred percent respectful with the mental health evaluation people at all times. I will act normal and relaxed because I am.
I’m not taking any medication. Also, I hope no one tries to drag me out of school and tell me I have to start going somewhere in Nassau County due to mental health.
I was doing perfectly fine in New York City. I would visit Nassau County to use the libraries to study for school and go to coffee shops like Panera Bread to study.
I take responsibility for arguing on the phone with the NCPD. I feel like I’m being discriminated against for being homeless when they add mental health into the case.
Also, I don’t understand why I’m considered a flight risk when I’m from Woodmere, New York, and I’m a full-time honor student on the Dean’s List at The City University of New York.
I hope the mental evaluation is fair because there is nothing wrong with me. I’m going to do everything I was assigned by the judge precisely as requested, and I’m going to continue to treat everyone with the utmost respect at all times. I’m just letting everyone know what’s going on to try and get a fair trial and mental health evaluation.
I was at the NYPD 19th Precinct, and we argued in the lobby. I’m as soft as a cupcake, and the cops could put me in their pocket.
After the argument, I walked out. The police sent a few cops to handcuff me and bring me back in. They called for an ambulance. I was taken to Mount Sinai hospital, located at 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029.
I treated everyone with the utmost respect. The NYPD requested that the doctors at Mount Sinai give me a mental health evaluation. The doctor spoke with me and let me go in less than an hour because nothing was wrong with me.
I have noticed that this is a pattern that the police and government use mental health on people they know don’t have any mental health issues as a punishment. I’m writing you a flawless eight hundred word email in less than an hour.
Does this email appear to be written by someone with mental health issues?
I appreciate your consideration in this matter.
Please advise if you require any additional information from me.
I’m going to contact everyone I can in the Nassau County government and private sector to try and get help and to make sure I get a fair mental health evaluation and sentence.
Thank you and have a great day.
