Email to a teacher about reviewing my homework before I officially submit it.

Greetings Professor,

Attached are two parts of the first homework. I wanted to send them to you to see if you can provide feedback before I turn in the assignment. If you would rather I turn them in and wait for the grade, going forward I will directly submit without asking for feedback. From my experience, some teachers provide feedback before I officially submit the homework for a grade and others don’t.

Either or is fine, I figure I might as well ask because it’s a major advantage when professors give feedback pre-submit. Either way, I love this class and I can already tell I’m going to be a better writer by the end of the semester. Knowing that you are a professional journalist is making me want to enhance my writing because I know you can see right through my shortcomings as a writer. One thing I haven’t been doing enough is studying professional writers. I’m going to start reading more in my spare time so I can analyze how the pros construct articles.

Please advise.

Thank you and have a great day.

Ever upward,

Mark Pine
