Questions for transfer services at my college.

I am a community college student at the City University of New York. I’m not too concerned about earning an associate’s degree. I’m focused on obtaining a bachelor’s degree. I’m an all or nothing type of person. Also, I plan on starting my own companies so I’m not going to require an associate’s degree for a job. There are a lot of magnificent jobs that might require an associate’s degree. If you fall into that category it makes perfect sense to go for the associate’s degree before transferring.

So far I have a 4.0 GPA after 27 credits. I’m not exactly sure when I want to transfer. Probably in the next 1 to 3 semesters. Now that I started to think about transferring I have questions about how to ensure the transition is seamless. I find it best to ask as many questions as possible as early as possible so I stay ahead of the game at college.

Because of everything that is going on all the appointments with transfer services at my school are being held via video call, chat, and electronically. Personally, I prefer to communicate with teachers and staff at my school via email. The following are a few questions I’m sending to the transfer services office at my community college.

Greetings Transfer Services,

I’m thinking about transferring to a 4-year CUNY college in the next couple of semesters. I’m not exactly sure when yet. It might be either Spring 2021 or Fall 2021. I have a few questions regarding how to make the process as seamless as possible. Any information you can provide would be appreciated. Currently, my GPA is a 4.0 after 27 credits. Fall 1 starts in a month and I’m already studying 5 to 10 hours a day for my classes to ensure I maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 or higher.

  1. How do I sign up for classes at the 4-year college once I am accepted and am 100% ready to make the switch from community college to the 4-year school?
  2. How do I move my financial aid over to the 4-year college?
  3. Please provide any additional tips that can help make the transition as smooth as possible. What else should I look out for?

Please provide any information you deem appropriate.

Thank you and have a great day.

Ever upward,

Mark Pine

I’m crowdfunding a startup to try and make it easier to help people create their own small companies.

YouTube video: direct sales startup crowdfunding.

Do the billion-dollar companies have the US economy on lockdown? Maybe they do. I spend the majority of my money buying products and services from billion-dollar companies. I rarely support small businesses living in New York City. When I go online I just want to buy the cheapest and I want the fastest delivery.

I’m working on crowdfunding a startup to help people try and create their own small businesses. The odds are a billion to one that it is going to fail. I’m not trying to be negative, it’s the reality of the situation. I’m not going to hype something up that is a hail mary pass from inside my own endzone in the fourth quarter.

When I provide web marketing services, I’m the same way. I let clients know upfront about what can go wrong and what can go right. I share the best information I have to try and help individuals make the most educated decisions with the resources they have. I also explain there are a lot of factors outside of both of our control. All we can do is our best and hope for the desired outcome.

I don’t think that people should have to be a business superstar just to open their own company. I think it should be a little easier. I’m in the early stages of creating a startup that I am temporarily calling a direct sales startup. I’m sure there is going to be tons of competition.

The plan is to help people create small businesses so they can sell popular products and services. I have to figure out where they are going to sell the products. Who they are going to sell the products to. Is it possible to take sales away from the leading corporations that control the majority of the current sales?

The idea will evolve as I go. Results are not guaranteed. All information is subject to change. Use this information at your own risk. This is not an investment opportunity. If anyone gives to my crowdfunding it is out of the goodness of their own heart.

I see a lot of good people getting involved in negative situations. I’m hoping to try and provide something positive for people to be involved with. I enjoy seeing people productive and happy.
