Letter to teenagers. Girls, boys, women, men, and adults too.

Just in case the world doesn’t come to an end due to global warming, war, or whatever. I’m 43 years young. I want to share some information with you. Analyze it and do what you want with it. This is for girls and boys, women and men. This is for adults too.

Disclaimers: I’m not a doctor. I’m not a lawyer. Use this information at your own risk. Results are not guaranteed. All information is subject to change. If you have specific questions, talk with a doctor.

In my humble opinion, financial freedom and health is number one. Don’t fall for the distractions. A lot of people want to be famous. I’m one of them. The difference from the past is that you don’t need movies, TV or music to be famous anymore. You don’t need the entertainment business to be famous. If you are a success in your respective field, you can be famous. To illustrate, let’s say you are a veterinarian, and you have your own office where you treat animals. I’m not sure how it all works at a veterinarian’s office but I bet you can hire a few people under you to do a lot of the dirty work. If you’re someone who wants to be famous like me, you can promote yourself on social media with the animals and things like that.

I’m not going to put a number on it, I’d guess you could earn a pretty penny doing that. Don’t ask me, ask a vet. Then you could hire a public relations company. The public relations company can help land you press in blogs, news websites, on TV, and more. Now you are locally famous. Maybe regionally famous. Eventually, you could be nationally famous, or globally.

What I’m saying is this. Again talk with your doctor and tell her/him that uncle Mark said it, stop wasting your time and money on drugs and alcohol. Stop damaging your body. Stop wasting your time following celebrities on the Internet. You’re the celebrity. Live your life, let people follow you.

YouTube video

There is too much amazing information available to be wasting time watching movies and listening to music. A little is OK, but to be following the entertainment business for hours and hours every day is insane. If you are a multi-millionaire I wouldn’t recommend it. If you’re living check to check and have no savings, it makes no sense. And of course, if you’re still in school there is a chance you will be broke for the rest of your life if you keep spending too much time following the entertainment business. I went back to school, I’m in school right now. When I’m moving around New York City, I’m listing to my textbooks in my headphones, not music. Or I have YouTube Premium, so I listen to that sometimes. YouTube Premium allows me to download YouTube videos and listen to them offline. The videos I download are to learn, not to listen to music and watch TV shows.

Every once in a while, I’ll listen to music. The music will play over and over in my head after I’m done listening to it. I say to myself, how is this helping me? I need to be thinking about productive things. For example, how to reach my goals of financial freedom, $100 million condo, and things like that. Instead, I listen to videos about things I want to learn. One thing I want to learn about is how to eat better. I’m currently watching videos about nutrition. I find it just as interesting as watching celebrity interviews.

You can land an awesome job if you try hard or you can open your own company. The district attorney of New York City, Cyrus Vance, is famous. His office will be the one sending you to prison if you don’t clean up your act. If you’re not in New York, you can substitute Mr. Vance will your local district attorney. There are a lot of real estate brokers living a rock star life. Not saying with partying, in regards to earning hundreds of thousands of dollars, being famous on some level and having a massive amount of freedom. I’m willing to bet it’s without a lot of the drama celebrities have to deal with. My New York real estate license is expired. I’m in the process of renewing it.

Don’t throw away your life with drugs and alcohol. You only have a limited amount of money, spend it wisely. You only have a certain amount of time, spend it wisely. Time flys by fast. In the blink of an eye you will be twenty, thirty, forty, fifty. Play the game long term. Find things you enjoy doing. Study what other people are doing to earn money so you can figure out what you like.

This is another list on Wikipedia: List of companies based in New York City. Check out what they are up to. That’s it I’m out. See you next post.
